Bummer. A lot of these guys were "in the background" on pop radio in the 70s and 80s. I used to not care, but now I like them more than i used to. Tunes that stick with you and aren't all about the thump and party time...

Thinking more like Mr Lightfoot, Gerry Rafferty, Kenny Rogers.....

Good question Colin, I just believe he wasn’t, outside of a few nutcase like me really known on this side of the pond. Also have mentioned his passing to a younger Canadian fella who replied « Gordon who…? »
