Meh, why veto?
I always thought Trump wanted a strong Germany, so why would he veto it?
That's what I meant earlier by writing there's no "credible" reason to veto. Doesn't mean there aren't any reasons—particularly for a leader who thinks in purely transactional terms. By facilitating a German nuke, Washington would lose a lever that it has at least threatened to use in the past, e.g. when J.D. Vance publicly mulled ignoring an Article V situation if Germany or the EU passed new regulations for Twitter/X.

Violent crime at German railway stations showed a marked increase in 2024, with Berlin's central station recording the highest number of incidents. Federal Police and Deutsche Bahn are intensifying security measures to combat the issue.

Violent crime at German railway stations rose 6% in 2024 compared to the previous year and has surged 51% since 2019, according to the Federal Police's annual report published this week.

Federal Police recorded 27,160 violent offences at train stations and on trains last year. That amounts to an average of 74 violent crimes per day across Germany's rail network.

Sexual offences also increased sharply, with cases of exhibitionism, sexual harassment and rape rising 19.2% to reach levels affecting both major cities and smaller rural stations.

Total offences at stations and on trains fell 10.1% to 381,894, largely due to fewer violations of the Residence Act.

Previously released data showed that Berlin's central station recorded the highest number of violent incidents with 764 cases, followed by Dortmund with 735, Hanover with 715 and Cologne with 703, according to the federal government.

The report shows approximately 79% of perpetrators are male, half were under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and just over half (53%) were not German citizens.

This is the real problem the f***ing bureacrats with their paperworks and idiotic laws and low work morale.

Putting burden after burden on the tax payer. Oh we are bound by laws mimi...but as an example they didn't belive my 85yeo fil needed day care because of open leg wounds.

We allocate huge resources to such S**t stuff which would be brushed away with one pen stroke and the guy expelled the next day.

They must be deprived of these lwas which enable them to suck out the state coffer helped by indifferent bureacrats which live from magic tax money.

These sums should be deducted from the collective pensions of all involved Beamten.

This is our main problem I told it many times.

Really infuriating.

A hopefully good step not again being reversed by reality derached judges who are mainly upholding abstract values and not adapting them to the reality of massive abuse by criminals and freeloaders and unfairness and disregard against the working tax payer.

The time for lip services must end tangible results are expected.

Reversal of burden of proof regarding values accumulated by foreign clans in Germany.

These clans steal, deal with drugs do whatever brings money illegally, live in houses worth millions and have zero income and even get social security payments.

But up to now the idiotic rule was that the state had to prove them getting that illegally.

Now they must produce proof.

Here the whole stupidity to read up..

Its in German

Just an excerpt

The Berlin State Attorney wanted to confiscate 6 houses worth 1.9 mill € bought from a 18 yeo member of the Remmo clan. But the Landgericht Berlin was not sure that it was bought with illegal money🤪 and ordered to give the real estate back to the 18 yeo Remmo member.

Now get this:

His brother got 10 million through a bank robbery and his father is probably the profiteur of the deals but can not buy to not lose social security payments.

They claim to have the money from super duper trust worthy renting in Libanon.

If you are a normal German tax payer they do not even believe really obvious things like craftsmen bills for renovation of a rented object if you do not prove the few hundreds € bill with three copies and a screenshot from your bank account ..

AfD has just successfully obtained a temporary injunction against the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution. Until further notice, the agency is no longer allowed to declare the party is an extremist organisation.
AfD has won a permanent injunction against the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution (BfV). On February 26, the Cologne Administrative Court ruled that the evidence provided by the agency is insufficient to justify its declaration.

The five judges wrote that although material collected by BfV does cast doubt on the law-abidance and loyalty of individual party members to the constitution, it is insufficient in scope to prove their views represent the party mainstream.

The ruling compels BfV to withdraw its declaration and not to repeat it again, under penalty of a monetary fine for all involved. It remains in effect until the main civil rights proceedings initiated by the party have produced a judgement. (Source)

Explanation: That's two-nil for AfD. The first injunction (based on an urgent appeal) did not involve a weighing of the evidence in full, but this hearing has. Experience suggests that the principal trial will now result in an acquittal, too.

Man, the Scholz administration really shat the bet with this one.
