The entirety of SBF's defense is built around avoiding his own terms of service which says FTX can't loan out funds of ordinary users. (margin trading is different)
If this is how FTX "always" processed withdrawals (co-mingling funds for withdrawals), then the Terms of Service have been a lie from the beginning! The withdrawals weren't segregated as promised, they literally were in a huge pot of money, first-come-first-serve.
