My impression of France is that you are completely screwed. Is my impression correct, do you have any hope of correcting the course? Jordan Bardella seems like a decent chap.

He is, and he means well no doubt about it.
Completely screwed is about accurate at the moment as we discussed for some years here before.
As for correcting the course that’d be about deserved. It’s a beautiful country, with for the most part normally good people ruled by total morons though. Bit undeserving.

The National Rally, Jordan and Marine won’t have any miracle solutions I’m afraid even if they somehow manage to win the presidency a year and a bit from now.

I think France once again proved its superiority to the world by another first: removing a stuck artillery shell from someone´s aXX

No doubt the world was waiting for a cure on this frequent condition and people will come from the four corners of the globe to meet Europe´s best doctors.

Furthermore, one of the antifa murderers belongs to the staff of Raphael Arnault, a member of parliament and an important member of La France Insoumise, Melenchon's far-left party.

There is quite a lid on the investigation of the events...I heard about the poor guy being stabbed 40 times, or only kicks when he was on the ground.

Details matter but one thing is clear: that left wing militia, and particuliarly the squad that defends Rima Hassan, is ultra violent: last year they went hunting for a Jew in the Paris metro.

Isn't it weird how an international terrorist organization that does not exist can be, effectively, be found all around the globe, defending the same left/far-left ideologies, along with causing both tremendous material damage and either hurting or killing people.

Since it does not exist, I suppose that young man lynched himself to death. There is no other explanation.🤷‍♂️

To death indeed. The poor Quentin passed away... they'll make sure it is forgotten and that hardly a ripple will trouble the stillness of the pond. Melenchon is actually, despite whatever he claims, Macron's ultimate life insurance and since Macron's bacon has been saved by the Socialists, and the Socialists ultimately rely on Melenchon's voters to save theirs...
Begging your pardon, saying weird things, am I turning into a conspiracy theorist?

Nah, nevermind.

The kid was a "faf" anyway.

He deserved it, or something.

*at least that's how the left is rationalizing it*

He's the reason they need to exist. Go to university for a couple of semesters and it'll all make sense.

Oh I am well aware of that, even more so since I did the most part of my academic years in Lyon.

But Lyon is a special place, and so are its universities, with lost of oppositions and contradictions.

Unis are rife with leftists and far-leftists, but surprisingly enough there also is a very strong presence of ultra-conservative far-right (talking about Lyon, in other cities as well, but Lyon is a very interesting case). Among the students and the teachers.

As for saying "he is the reason they need to exist", well... yes and no.

He could be, yes, absolutely organic in his views and opposition to the far-left. Just like his views could have grown as a response to the far-left's behavior and the general conniving from those who think they know better.

But even without him, antifa would still exist. They are used to intimidate and quell dissent through fear and violence.
So, just call people nazis and be very loud and obnoxiously retarded about it. Thus you create yourself a target and justify your own existence.

That's an interesting definition of "free speech".

Doucet is a big fcukin pr1ck. However the family said they did not want anything, and will not be going. So sometimes these street actions are pointless. For the moment, the mood is really in support of the murdered young man in 90% of the media, give or take a few idiots.

I like when the Right leads the cultural debate. And it is now. It might not if this turns downright ugly...and I am not sure it is the best way to pay tribute to Quentin.

I understand some want a protest, but it can turn ugly...and again the family does not support it.
