• I just ran across this thread; it reminds me that many years ago, there was a guy on MP.net, I think it was POGO, and this guy claimed to be an Air Force pilot. This was during the Iraq War, maybe around 2004 he started posting.

• I believe it was either Iraq or Afghanistan.

• He was an F-15 pilot, doing close air support for the troops.

• If I'm not mistaken, the way he got caught was either the guy he was stealing the photos from on Facebook, or one of his friends happened to be on MP.net and found those photos. That guy, whose photos were stolen, reported it to Hood, and then I guess they did an investigation like you guys did.

• And wow, yeah, he ended up having to apologize (because he was using that pilot's image as well), and then they banned him.

The sad thing about MPN years or at least its early stages circa 2003-2004 is I only mostly remember the BS and shitposters whereas there certainly were on the other hand excellent members as well.

Well this was certainly a thread!

I was so confused how a Dane in the Danish air force was somehow involved with IAF strikes in Lebanon and Gaza, I thought perhaps he was a Danish Jew with dual citizenship or something. It all seemed very off with him and I suspected he might be a larper, but before I got the chance to ask him about his random video posts, he was gone.
