I'll admit I'm too stupid to understand the reference. You mean because he joined in November 2009?
X released details of accounts that can now be accessed. FLYNAVYs account is in the US not Europe. Anyone looking at his X account can see details as from a few days ago.
Tens of thousands accounts have been outed especially those of political commentary.
Ive blocked about 100 on my own x account as they're originating from Africa/Nigeria/Asia but purporting to be Western accounts

He'd been outed on twitter/X years ago as a fantasist. I assumed you all knew?

Crappy news, but on a somewhat comical note - he once stole a picture of my dinner.

My dinner - https://www.militaryimages.net/threads/hungry-boy-recipes-or-just-what-you-ate.7011/post-170397

His post - https://www.militaryimages.net/threads/afghan-armed-forces-prior-to-2021.8130/post-171220

My reply - https://www.militaryimages.net/threads/afghan-armed-forces-prior-to-2021.8130/post-171310

His explanation, and worryingly - I did not question this piss-poor excuse at all - https://www.militaryimages.net/threads/afghan-armed-forces-prior-to-2021.8130/post-171474

You know the old phrase... "One day you're stealing a picture of someone's dinner, the next you're a Taliban fighting F-16 pilot.."

Not alone I reacted to all of that too without questioning....so weird even the meal picture stolen...

Wonder who his wife the four kids and the castle they were living in is...

I've had a tough time over the last few days, which is why I didn't come across this thread until today.

I responded to some of his posts, and even though some of them seemed fantastic to me, he always remained (for my taste) on the edge of credibility.

I wonder what someone who acts like this hopes to achieve... It would never occur to me to take credit for the actions of others.

I get your point, Pegasus… however I had more than reservations about some dude, as pleasant as he was to be online so much while flying across the entire Middle East dealing with bad guys.

Us, miserable plebs are about grounded, dialed to optic fiber and rehash the same sheiße online near 24/7.

I am coming from the military aviation spotting community with ETNS being the "local" airbase where i am most of the time...or was since spotting becomes more and more delicate due to security concerns and the behavior of some dipshits...

anyway...although we have quite a good and based connection to a number of personnel on base which grants us a certain amount of insights there is always this "we look up to you flying guys" which makes you vulnerable to (blindly) believe anything they say just because you admire them or what they do. And of course some of them are very aware of that and like this spotlight...in one very unpleasant case up to a point where S**t hit the fan including disciplinary actions...but despite that...such persons exist...doesn't matter if they wear a uniform or not. Once they felt this spotlight they want more and more. They get used to it, construct more and more lies until eventually everything falls apart.

An investigation has been ongoing for months into videos posted by him of his direct involvement in conflicts in Afghanistan, Israel and Iran. It was also noted that other members have questioned FLYNAVY about his ability to operate various aircraft including F-16, F-18 Super Hornet, Rafale. His social media was checked and he claimed to also pilot C-130 and UH-60 helicopters. He defended himself by claiming that because the Danish air force was so small pilots have to be cross-trained.

Thought it was strange he could fly that many jets.

F16 - F18, why not. No idea how much of a difference there are (aside from the very obvious ones, that is) and if going from one to another requires relearning how to fly entirely. Perhaps an evolution of career would lead to experimenting with a number of platforms up until the moment when you are assigned your final ride.
But why would a Dane train on Rafale?

iirc didn't he claim to have flown on C17 during the withdrawal from Afghanistan. Or perhaps was it C130 and I am misremembering.

Anyway, what I thought was peculiar was the fact he was pretty much deployed everywhere there was something going on. Even if he had been a US pilot that would have been excessive.

But him talking about seeing B61 being loaded and/or moved around was my red-flag.

Oh well, another stolen valor. One down how many more to go?

By the way, wasn't he on MP.net and themess as well?

I think he goes way back and made the move with us through several sites. I was more than happy to believe him when he was the most deployed C-17 pilot in history.

Anyone watch the Matt Bissonnette interview on Shawn Ryan? Matt was one of the SEALs on the Bin Laden raid and actually put some rounds into the fvcker. Interesting stuff.

Anyhoo, years later he was at his kid's school and volunteered to be a crossing guard. He sees a parent crossing with a SEAL Team 6 hat, (not the ones you can get on Amazon). He later asked him if he was in SEAL Team 6. He said yes. Then he asked, were you on the Bin Laden raid. The guy looks around and says, "yes, yes I was". The trap was set. Matt says, that's funny, because I didn't see you there. LOL!

Hi guys I want to congratulate all involved in keeping this site safe from individuals who wish to use this platform for all the wrong reasons.
To claim to be someone that they obviously are not is diabolical.
There I've said my wee bit.
