The father of eight-year-old Timofey, who is on the front line and has been awarded the Medal for Bravery, addressed the command of the unit with a corresponding request.
The little guest of the special unit was met by the commander of OMON "Bastion", police colonel Eduard Varankin, he congratulated Timofey on his birthday and handed him a black beret. Then the boy was given a tour of the squad's museum, an exhibition of equipment and special means, practical control of a robot sapper and a master class in self-defence.
