I'll rise the question which is on many minds (i think). Do you think that our generation (or future) will see another attempt of Argentine military intervention on Falkland Islands? I ask this because I understand that Argentine claim on islands are still on at least in political level. I know that some "wounds" are not yet fully healed and I'm not british or argentinean, so I apologize if I hurt someone with this question.

Just noticed there were almost identical thread earlier, sorry.

Hi mineman65,

Two of our lads and their wives have just returned from a holiday out there. Once it was found out, that they were medics at the time of the conflict, they were bombarded with drinks and hospitality. There was a write up in the local paper and a woman and her son came to visit them, as he was a casualty and the mother stated that he would have died, but for the treatment he received of the medical staff.

Silky
