He died at 84 from complication of a pneumonia.

Assuredly, not everybody will be mourning him. But was very active in US policies.

Still not sure US VP Cheney & US Pres. Bush made the right decision to drag us into Iraq. I lost a lot of friends there. If we had gone after the source of terrorism [Iran] we would be better off now. I guess it finally took US President Trump to finally make it happen.

You mean Netanyahu 😋

Iraq was imo an old family score from '91 that needed to be settled. Toppling Saddam back then and rebuilding would have been much simpler.

He sure left his mark on the world, and he will be remembered for that.

But not in a good way by most. Except those who made money from it.

Nope. I meant Israel along with the Coalition of the willing cleared the airspace & air defenses over Iran to make way for the USA's B-2 missions to safely hit their targets of Iran's nuclear development. & that took Iran's nuclear boot off the necks of all citizens in the ME region. I as well as others have always felt that Iran & their supported proxies with arms & money/pay when Biden released the sanctioned bank cash to Iran.

Bush made the right decision to drag us into Iraq.
Did he? I beg to differ.
That war was a colossal mistake, and an entirely preventable one at that. The disruption of the traditional power structures there created Islamic State, a refugee wave to Europe, and a new hotbed of conflict between the Shiites and Sunnites with wide-reaching ramifications.

My complete sentence was " Still not sure US VP Cheney & US Pres. Bush made the right decision to drag us into Iraq. I lost a lot of friends there. If we had gone after the source of terrorism [Iran] we would be better off now. I guess it finally took US President Trump to finally make it happen."

Oh, sorry, my bad. Nevermind.

No problem buddy. IMHO Iran has always been the source of terrorism, even worse for the world if they had gotten nuclear missiles.....think hold the whole world hostage. & I hardly ever miss a chance to remind my command about it. During the days leading up to the B-2 bombing in Iran my Command must have asked me 50 times if I had a boner [short for B-2 bombing] going. Now it's time to get rid of the Mullahs.
