I find this claim said by this CS very hard to believe .
When the issues became apparent . Not once was he sacked nevermind resigned nor did he apologise for making such a decision . It has made the Yard a laughing stock and has tarnished there rep for years.
How in the chuff can you run a Gov whereby Ministers make there own decisions without the fear of being sacked etc .
Prime example Scotrail train cancellations fiasco blaming it on driver shortages yet they haven't once advertised for Train Drivers on there fb page .
