Bd popeye has come and go from plenty of sites. Last time he did unless I’m mistaken he was getting tired of the politics indeed but I don’t remember him blasting certain users directly.

Of course he and others could have stayed on the forum while ignoring any political threads but it’s tempting to just dive in a thread, even one where many butt heads with each others.

Anyhow, can we stay on topic por favor?

Sorry, not buying it - AT ALL.

My interactions with Bd Popeye go back many, many years, back to several sites before this one.

Our interactions were always friendly and congenial. Never did we ever have a cross word about anything. Also, it was my impression that our politics generally aligned.

Popeye has left and returned several times IIRC, and for various reasons

I do agree it's a shame he's not here. I always enjoyed his pics and sea stories. Hopefully he'll return

Keep burying your head in the sand bro. More and more users are leaving. Just look how many accounts have been deleted.
 
I’m well aware and can even name or list them but would rather not.

Certain topics recently were virtual land mines from Covid to Ukraine. Someone asking for having his account retired will be granted the request, and it cannot be reverted on the account but he’s still welcome under a new one unlike a permabanned user in most cases.

What would I have to gain by making this up? I've been in comms with him for years. Why would I make it up?

Yes, can someone please define the "alt-right"? I find leftists throwing that label around with abandon and have no idea, (maybe they don't either?) what it means.
