Other Post Crypto Currency

It’s a topic that was brought up in recent years I believe in the OT forum and this how was your day thread.

I’ve started off with Bitcoin and Ethereum back in summer 2021, and with other stocks and shares and made quite some revenues before selling it in Nov 2021 when the stock markets and crypto reached a peak. It appeared to have been a smart move as I earned quite a bit but not enough yet to have to give back some to the tax office.

Haven’t tried or put money into XRP though.
 
I am on XRP now, hoping it can be a source of cash for the website, not got too much value in it but any amount of profit has to help. Hopefully things will pan out well :)
 
Basically this is the charts for XRP since it started:

As seen, it has reached like other cryptos some interesting and valuable peak in early 2021 before crashing more recently.

Adding @Musashi into the discussion as he’s some good insights about this.
 
Everyone is having a crack at their own inhouse coin. Suppose why not even Musk dabbled for a short time. Don't feel left out at the cocktail party.
So after the FTX crash El Salvadorian pres...the bitcoin experiment panics and phones Binance to find out if he had any of Venezuela's collateral in that sink.
He has no idea where its kept? He breathed a huge sigh of relief that it wasn't...no need to get on a helo today.

Back in the 80's inflation era when gold was king even that was a risk. They created gold certificates backed by thin air.

No mention of the co-founder of FTX donating millions to the Republicans? Is that not part of this conspiracy theory?

He did in fact give some RINOs money. But the big money went to the Dems. Reportedly 99%. Funny how you state it as fact, but then brush it off as a "conspiracy theory".

A bit like thunder. You see the flash, then, 7secs later, you hear the bang.

If you missed the flash, the bang will let you know it happened. But you will have to wait for the bang to know there was a flash.

I'm just weary of everything being a corrupt money laundering scheme to encourage war in Ukaraine & WW3 when it really is as simple as Russia invaded a sovereign country and western countries are providing aid because it is in their interest to halt an imperialist expansionist.

The grip on reality in this forum is slipping and it is becoming an echo chamber spoiled by politics. Many good posters don't come here anymore @bdpopeye and have deleted their profiles because of the likes of you and a few others.

I dare say if the numbers of visitors were run they would be down on 2 years ago.....

This one is in fact a corrupt money laundering scheme, with a convenient war to fuel it. bdpopeye is an excellent dude, and I have enjoyed reading his posts since before this forum was around. I wish he were still around. The fact that you bring popeye up so randomly, and claim that he doesn't come here because I would dare to call you out, is beyond ridiculous. It confirms that you speak without having a clue.

Politics can certainly lead to arguments. But it is also an interesting and important part of our discourse. And as you mention, we have threads here, literally created to talk politics.
