Mil News China Military & Political news

It's more complicated as it's not about free trade and cheaper production of goods.

I am from the West I had always everything. Didn't need China to have stuff. Especially stuff they never had before.

Also stuff from China you buy three times and it's not that cheaper anymore. Maybe electronics there played a role.

Rest I never buy Chinese bad quality over all. And don't want to fund Xi and by extension Putin.

My father just shortly ordered a training suit from Temu well served him right what he got. The semblance of a training suit only with nearly no material used.

He also has a Einhell accu drill (Fake German brand from China) I have a Bosch for three times the price.

My son dropped his Einhell from 40cm it's broken now.

The Bosch gets regularly dropped from 1m and more no issues.

All quality stuff from China is Western controlled or aided, rest is designed to suck out technology for their military build up or just squeeze out competition by low prices and subsidies no real market at play here. Hence no market rules eg customer satisfaction, safety, healthy finances of companies and healthy revenues.

We let us made a bit dependent but it's not too late to undo that.

I already said years ago that they can play their shenanigans game alone at some point.

Hope this pint comes soon again. Together with screenings and travel restrictions.

I used a Zongthong bus a while ago. Even the Soviet Union produced better stuff.

Screeching and eeching on every slight turn felt like the chassis was distorted and misaligned and all pieces like rails which are sturdy on MAN buses for example were vibrating and moving.

Only place saving you in China nowadays is a job at a state company nowadays but hey all occupied by CCP members relatives and rich kids.

I think it is too late.
Even if we(Europe) somehow reopen all the coal mines and electricity production based on burning coal and gas(-Russian gas/oil), we open the old nuclear power plants and then build new ones at a rapid pace. As to have the energy to build or reopen factories in the EU, like the dozens of factories that were sold as scrap and demolished, like they did in the last 35 years, here in Romania.
We would then have a big shortage of workers and skilled workers, we would have to still import millions of asians to work in them and then there is the polution aspect of having factories spewing chemicals in the air and water so that we could build, better training suits and drills than the ones in China :)

I don't ever see that happening, even if China takes Taiwan in the next 5 years. We are way past the point where we could compete in terms of industry.

That's not true it's a mirage they want to convey.

Like suddenly all Chinese cars surpassed German cars.

They are just cheaper that's it.

They have a professional hype up department and multipliers to convey the message that the West has lost (in the game they started one sided and without anyone else being interested in that kind of revisionism e.g. get back to their 2000 years history were they doninated the World while not knowing until a portuguese monk told them that the earth isnot flat). Heck they even invented some back to centuries GDP calculation to "prove" they were better that the West.

They used agressive subventions to capture western markets providing them their products.

It's not like China invents something makes it big on the home market and then expands to foreign markets.

Ot was not like that the past decades there was simply no market there they has to produce for the West and continue to do so.

Giving a consumer power is totally not acceptable for the CCP.

They don't have magic powers all technology they have was there before developed by the West.

They just used it to hijack western markets as that is the power they want to fight.

Still Communist want to take production means away this time from us over here.

To large parts that happened but if you look at many different industrial numbers it's not like they have the rocket sciences industries caught but rather dirty and problematic fields the West was all to happy to outsource like you correctly mentioned.

But we still have lots of very specialized industries and smart people.

Each day i see more and more chinese EVs on the street

Yes in Portugal BYDs sold by Caetano for example. They sold around 3000 this July I noticed them too.

In Germany they get no foothold though.

Prices are not that low and already few used ones to sell for much money.

But the Portuguese car market is special.

Portugal generally likes to sell stuff to China, sold EDP for example. Provides S**t services not comparable to the "declining" German energy and industrial production. We have stable power and the rating we get sold. Not sell a rating and deliver half of the energy rating only.

Here some statistics regarding high tech trade.

China sells select raw materials consumer electronics and simple prefabricated industrial parts. That's mostly it we are by far not that dependent anymore on them like before they infected us with their escaped laboratory virus.

They also use all western patents which became free so that they can producd the stuff for us. Called essential patents.

30 years ago they were cyclists mostly all this transition only happened because they were allowed to do that for us to have cheap goods.

I guess from now on they may be pretty much on their own.

With Xi getting new organs every few years until he reaches immortality.

BYD is the next Evergrande. Buffet consistently sells it's stocks while telling others how great China and BYD are doing.

Will now hot people over the Workd as they forked out tens of thousands for probably no enduring support.

Chinese companies do not support legacy products like many Western companies do.

Btw. BYD didn't even pay suppliers on time with pay extensions reaching 270 days.

And after being forced to incur the costs to suppliers surprise revenues shrank.

Everybody can make a company profitable when you only look at the earnings and ignore costs.

But hey communists faking it to lure the capitalists in and their tech. What do you expect.

Also MG is selling a lot lately for what i have seen

Stuff like chemicals, metals and other stuff to manufacture medicine and other vital strategic things we need, and other prime materials, electronic chips, stuff like phones, PC parts, laptops, TVs etc. Also, machines that manufacture stuff, remember we could not manufacture those stupid masks 5 years ago and had to rush them from China ar huge prices. We don't have electronics assembly plants, stuff to make plastics, power plant transformers etc.

Nostalgic people are right in their way about my country, Romania. We used to manufacture almost all the stuff we needed before 1989. We would grow most of our food too. Ceausescu wanted us to be independent of Russia/USSR and in a way he did it. Now, the stuff they manufacturede weren't world quality stuff like the one made in Japan or West Germany, but we got by with them for decades. We build planes, helicopters, tanks, small arms, trucks, cranes, naval ships and even managed to build a nuclear power plant with help from Canada.

Now, we can buy almost anything if we have the money, but little is actually build or grown here, most of the stuff is from imports.

China needed to convince the BASFs Brudermüller to build them chemical plants. The largest chemical plant area is still in Germany.

Western economy is specialized production not build all yourself to low quality standards.

The CCP commies try to F*** that up by their hijacking of the "Globalisation" but they will not succeed because its just continuous paradox behaviour on their side given that priority 1 is the CCPs rule.

Romania has a much better industry today than in the past we're everything was made at home.

Just look at Dacia or strange that you mention that because Romania is one of the top electronics manufacturing places in the EU:

Sector overview

Romania`s electronics industry is dominated by large global companies who have established stable development and production footholds in the country. They provide a wide range of products and services that vary from industrial, consumer and automotive electronics to assembly of complex electronic modules for international export.
One of the most significant companies is Continental Automotive Romania, which has several production and R&D centers in cities such as Timisoara, Sibiu, Brasov and Iasi. The company is dedicated to the development of automotive electronics, including on-board computers, automatic steering sensors, and electronic braking control systems. In addition to its production capacity, Continental also conducts serious R&D focused on the future of autonomous cars.

Another leading company is Bosch Romania, which has operations in Cluj-Napoca and Blaz. Bosch focuses on designing electronic engine management systems, intelligent sensors and microchips for the automotive industry. From its engineering hub in Cluj, the company is actively investing in research in domains of artificial intelligence, machine learning and automation.

In the electronics manufacturing services (EMS) business segment, a primary role is played by Flex Romania in Timisoara. Flex offers printed circuit board manufacturing services, electronic module assembly and full logistics services to customers from industrial, medical and telecom sectors.

Emerson Romania, having its base in Cluj-Napoca, also plays a significant role in industrial electronics. The company manufactures and develops sensors and systems for industrial control and monitoring, by merging engineering, production and development activities.

In the northwest part of the country, Zollner Elektronik Romania (Satu Mare) and Celestica Romania (Oradea) are also among the major production centers. They produce electronic modules and mechanical components for export to foreign customers across industries from the automobile industry to consumer electronics.
Hirschmann Automotive, with headquarters in Sibiu, specializes in the manufacturing of electrical connectors, cable systems and components for vehicles, with a high level of automation and assembly accuracy.

Regarding product niches, the Romanian electronics sector is focused on automotive electronics, printed circuit board manufacturing, industrial automation and engineering services for embedded systems. In addition, Romania is an important centre for the so-called EMS services – assembly, testing and supply logistics of electronic products for foreign brands.

The presence of a high-skilled engineering workforce, coupled with low production cost and EU incentives, makes Romania increasingly attractive for electronics investments. Global analysis prognoses indicate that fields such as automotive electronics, Internet of Things and industrial automation will keep developing in the next decade, making Romania a key player in Central and Eastern Europe.

The Romanian Association of Electronics and Software Industry (ARIES) is a professional, non-governmental organization, with over 370 members at national level. ARIES is organized in 5 branches: Cluj-Napoca, Brasov, Craiova, Iasi and Timisoara (the largest branch by member number). ARIES acts as access point to all information about the Romanian Information and Communication Technologies (ITC) market.

About the parade and a brave Chinese projecting anti communist party slogans days before the parade.

His family and him allegedly were evacuated to Europe before.

So EU and US combined still produce more than China with half the population. Should tell who's more efficient and innovative.

Here the dictators shall get their regular new organ donations to live until 150...

They (dictators) always repeat history special treatment for them in special hospitals.

The GDR also had a special hospital for the communist elite.

China is sending tens of thousands of not ordered packages (65000) by mail to Germany containing seeds and other rotten possibly parasite infected plant stuff like roots.

The thing that annoys me is the putting up with such bullshit.

Probably all sent by the free post arrangement.

So in addition to economic help for China we also sponsor their dark tactics evaluation procedure. Nobody knows what the reason is ranging from importing parasites e.g. potato beetles or sth to harm the EUs agrar sector or testing EU entry points with lax controls for further use of the postal service as weapon.

The German authorities send the packages back thats all.

I would take this opportunity to end the fckn postal fee desaster and let them pay for that or the customer.

Would have cost them quite some €s to do their test.

Here is a list sorted by electronic components for reference.

China is top in mobile phones and such ubiquitous cheap plastic products like mouses, cables keyboards etc. but that doesn't mean nobody else produces electronics.

If we go into industrial electronics Germany is still very much on top.

But nobody knows such components until someone shows them to Xi and he quickly drafts a plan on how to outprice and destroy that business. Without hand and foot China always used pricing and availability to conquer markets.

In reality things are a tad more complicated.

From that list (2022) I combined EU exports

It's at round about 547000 millions while Chinas is at 917000 millions.

Just to give an alternative perspective.

Awaiting: the third Chinese aircraft carrier "Fujian" is moving southward along the Taiwan Strait accompanied by tugboats. The deck is clean, no aircraft. It is assumed that the course is towards Sanya, where it may be prepared before being commissioned into the combat fleet.
