I honestly don't understand why they can't come up with some standard process, like here in Florida, when I go to vote at the polls. I just have to show my driver's license, and they scan it like a credit card. It prints out a receipt, which they staple to the printed ballot—created at that moment. I fill out my ballot, take it back, and they do all the checks before putting it into the machine to count the vote. Why can't all states at least try something like that? Just as a minimum...
