The Algerian Special Forces - 116th Special Operations Regiment and the Turkish Special Forces carried out a joint exercise within the framework of military cooperation between the two countries for the year 2025.
The exercise is the third of its kind between the two countries' special forces and includes the following activities:
- Free-fall military parachuting
- Use of a vertical wind tunnel parachute simulator
- Rapid landing and air evacuation techniques
- Combat in built-up areas and close quarters engagement
- Sniper training
- Unmanned aerial systems - Blasting and field first aid training
- Medical evacuation training

As part of bilateral military cooperation between the Algerian Navy and its British counterpart, two joint naval exercises will be conducted from October 19 to 24, 2025, in British territorial waters. These two exercises aim to exchange expertise and enhance operational coordination between the navies of the two friendly countries, particularly in the areas of maritime security, underwater combat and Demolition, and special intervention operations.
