At the annual exhibition and conference of the United States Army Association - AUSA-2021, Ghost Robotics presented a prototype of the four-legged SPUR (Special Purpose Unmanned Rifle) robot equipped with a high-precision sniper rifle from Sword International.

High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems with 3d Battalion, 12th Marines conduct a fire mission during Exercise Noble Jaguar 2021 within the Central Training Area on Okinawa, Japan, Sept. 29, 2021. The Marine Corps and Navy leveraged integrated command and control and joint sensors to expand battlefield awareness, share targeting data, and conduct long-range precision strikes in support of sea control and sea denial in contested maritime environments. III Marine Expeditionary Force executed these actions as a part of an integrated operation with 7th Fleet to maintain readiness and demonstrate U.S. resolve to preserve regional security. Dyess Air Force Base B-1B Lancers have arrived at RAF Fairford for Bomber Task Force Europe!
U.S. Strategic Command and U.S. European Command (EUCOM) has been conducting BTF missions since 2018, which have consisted of rotations of B-1B Lancers, B-52 Stratofortresses, and, most recently, B-2 Spirits. The missions allow U.S. bomber crews to deploy to unfamiliar airfields and integrate with a range of coalition allies and partners to enhance readiness.

The final four C-130 Modular Aircraft Firefighting System-equipped aircraft were released, ending the 96-day support effort to combat western U.S. wildfire activities. During this year’s 96-day MAFFS activation, aircrews flew 945 sorties, dropping 2,583,204 gallons of fire retardant. This year marks the second-busiest fire season in their 49-year history.
