The following two Wrens who were serving at Fleet Air Arm, 753 Squadron HMS Condor, Arbroath
On the 27 July 1945 the following two Wrens and George, were flying in a Barracuda Li of 753 Squadron which crashed at Leysmill Farm about three miles North West of R.N.A.S. HMS Condor, both Wrens were testing aircraft wireless equipment. They all perished at the scene.

Died 27 August 1945 age 28 years of heart failure (possible of a Pulmonary Embolism caused by thrombosis of the leg (DVT) at her home, Gardswood, Reynolds Road, Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire. At rest in Birkdale Cemetery, Lancashire.

The UK British Army Navy BMD records on Ancestry (ADM 104, 136, (1939 Sept to 1948 June shows her death as heart failure at home.
A family tree shows she died at home from a thrombosis of the leg.

The following two Wrens Phyllis Collett and Eileen Stallworthy, were both passengers on the same plane which was shot down over France 30 August 1945. Both on their way home to be demobbed.

Two minutes later, while completing a last turn in poor weather conditions, the aircraft nosed down and crashed in flames in a field short of runway. The following three wrens along with other on the 15 October 1945, an Expeditor C.II, HD759, painted HB759 aircraft belonging to 742 Naval Air Squadron, Fleet Air Arm (1945-1946 at Air Transport Sqn) based at Colombo Racecourse, Ceylon stalled and crashed on the approach to RAF Station Ratmalana, Ceylon in bad weather. Five died at the scene, Sybil died the following day of her injuries.
