William John "Bill" SMALL. Chief Petty Officer 189288 Royal Navy on HMS St Angelo. Born 27 January 1881 at Port Glasgow Renfriewshire died in Malta 20 August 1948 aged 67 years. Husband of Margaret Ann Davies 1887 - 1916
1901, Rank Ordinary Seaman on HMS Renown at Grand Harbour, Malta aged 20. Married March 1911 to Margaret Anne Davies. Petty Officer 1st Class Royal Navy. Gunnery Instructor on Whale Island. In 1911 he was residing with his wife Margaret and son Frederick aged 9 at 36 Clarendon Street, Lake Road, Portsmouth occupation Petty Officer 1st Class.
