Born 1902 at Milford Haven, Pembrokshire to William Laurie and Dorothy Orchard nee Thomas. 1911 Residing with his parents and siblings at 1 Priory Hill, Milford Haven. 1925 he married Henrietta Florence Peterson at Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire. Died 14th April 1942 aged 41.
Robert Eric CHAPMAN. Flying-Officer, Pilot, 402567, 4 Aerodrome Defence Unit . (A.D.U) Royal New Zealand Air Force, 21 Squadron, RAF, aged 29 years, the son of John and Margaret Chapman, of Nelson, New Zealand. Died 9th August 1943 aged 29.
Stephen John HANDLEY. Lieutenant, Observer 205752V South African Air Force. Born 19 September 1922 at Eshowe, Zululand, Natal, South Africa to Thomas and Helen Sarah. Killed in a plane crash 18th August 1943. The plane rolled on approach, crashed at RAF Luga, in Martin Baltimore Mk III #FA344
