Born 1899 to George Henry and Mary of Rosemary Cottage, Thanet Street, Clay Cross, Derbyshire. 1901-1911 with his parents and siblings at 39 Uttoxeter Old Road, Derby
Died of wounds War Hospital, (Netley Military Hospital aka Royal Victoria Hospital) Southampton 4th October 1918 aged 19. His mother was granted a war gratuity 23 January 1919 revised 5 December 1919.
At rest in Clay Cross Cemetery, Derbyshire
