Husband of Emily, nee Gibson.
Merchant Navy. Joined at Belfast 16 August 1908 aged 15 for 4 years, expires 1911 with Irish Shipowners Co, Ltd.
10 November 1913 received his certificate of competency as First Mate.
Served his country in the Great War. Awarded to Mercantile Marine Medal and British Medal 31 July 1924.
Died 31 July 1971 aged 80.
At rest in Holywood Cemetery, Holywood, County Down.
