Born 1895 to John William and Martha Spridgeon, nee Marriott. 1901 residing with his parents at 11 South Street, Long Eaton, Derbyshire. 1911 residing with his parents and siblings at 138 Derby Road, Long Eaton, Derbyshire. Husband of Martha Spridgeon, nee Brown of Belfast. Resided at 11 Nevis Avenue, Belfast. Died in The Abbey Sanatorium, Whiteabbey Belfast 6 February 1947 age 41.
At rest with his mother-in-law Jane Brown in Dundonald Cemetery, Belfast Sec. B.4. Grave 696.
His widow and his children, two daughters, Dorothy and Irene embarked Liverpool bound for Saint John New Brunswick Canada on the 23 December 1952 on ship Empress of Canada. Their last address was 11, Nevis Avenue, Belfast, Northern Ireland.
