- William Clifton Vernon HIGGINSON. 2nd Lieutenant, 3rd Squadron and General List, Royal Flying Corps, Medical Student, 1st M.B., St Bartholomews Hospital, London University. Killed in action 20th November 1917 aged 21. Son of William and Sarah Jane Higginson, of 55, Marlborough Avenue, Hull. Commemorated on his brother, 2nd Lt, John Thomas Gordon HIGGINSON, memorial in Crewe Cemetery, Cheshire. (On his brothers memorial) Interred at La Vacquerie, Somme, France
