Son of James Shiel and Isabell Thomson of Poulton Priory Farm, Fairford, Gloucestershire This memorial have him interred at Ploegsteert Cemetery, Commemorated on his parents memorial at Stratton Cemetery, Gloucestershire Belgium and the CWGC have him buried at Berks Cemetery, Extension, Belgium
