Rolph Charles Colwyn

ROLPH Charles Colwyn, Captain 2nd Leicestershire Regiment killed in action in France 15th October 1915 aged 27. He was the son of William and Emily who in 1901 were living in Cheltenham husband of Gladys Vivian nee Boileau who he married in 1914 in St Martin-in-the-Fields, London and a Cheltonian. In 1911 he was stationed at Corunna Barracks, Aldershot. (Index and Wills, Ancestry) have an address of the Limited Service Club Pall Mall, Middlesex. His effects of 1761.6s.4d went to Hugh Barrington Brown, Lieutenant Colonel, Leicestershire Regiment. He is buried at Gorre British and Indian Cemetery, France
