ROGERS, John

Colonel John ROGERS, C.B. Army Service Corps. He was the son of William and Elizabeth
of this city who served with distinction in the Egyptian Expedition 1882-84. The Dongola Expedition
1896 and the Nile Expedition 1898 and died at Cairo on the 31st May 1900 in his 45th year
The Auckland Star have him as Major General and brother of Thomas Rogers of Franklin Road North 2 (North Island) New Zealand
