Born to Alexander and Mary Ann Stewart, nee Dunn of Greyabbey Co Down.
Died at the Battle of the Somme 1st July 1916. His father was granted a war gratuity 5 March 1917 revised 5 November 1919.
Commemorated on a family memorial in Donaghadee Parish Churchyard, Co Down Northern Ireland.
