Robert SMYTH. Rifleman 15/12431, 19th Royal Irish Rifles.
Husband of Maggie Smyth, of 139, Leopold Street, Belfast Ireland.
Died at the Mater Hospital, Belfast 25 September 1919 age 38 years of aortic regurgitation (occurs when your heart's aortic valve doesn't close tightly) which he had for 3 years and 6 months and cardiac failure. Status, discharged soldier.
His widow was granted a war gratuity 7 August 1919 revised 6 September 1919.
At rest in Shankill Graveyard, Belfast, Northern Ireland.
