GREG Robert Philips. 2nd Lieutenant, 11th Cheshire Regiment died of wounds 3 May 1918 aged 19. Born 1899 at Bolton, Lancashire to Colonel Ernest William Greg and Marion, nee Cross. Of Norcliffe Hall, Handforth. In 1901 he was living with his parents and siblings at Higher Duncar House, Turton, Lancashire. At rest in Poperinghe, Flanders. His is commemorated on a family memorial in Wilmslow Church, Cheshire. CWGC have him at Rest in Lijssenthoek Military Cemetery, Belgium.
