Robert Bill son of Robert and Alice nee Storer, who being a Lieutenant in the army died at Gibraltar the 14th October 1780, [when the Fortress was besieged by the Spaniards] in the 28th year of his age.

This memorial stone is located in St Peter the parish church of Alton, Staffordshire
