Son of Agnes Dunwoody, of 61, Gaffikin Street, Belfast Ireland. Husband of Mary Ellen Dunwoody, nee Childs of 61, Gaffikin Street, Belfast. Killed in action Friday 6 November 1914 aged 22. His widow was granted a war gratuity 12 January 1917, revised 27 September 1919.
Commemorated on the Menin Gate Memorial, Ypres, Belgium.
This memorial flag was on display at the World Fallen (Temporary) Memorial on the 11 November 2018 at the National Memorial Arboretum, Alrewas, Staffordshire.
