Sergeant 1439622 Royal Air Force Volunteer Reserve died on active service 25th November 1943 aged 21. Son of George Richard and Annie Eliza K nee Coleman of Chesterfield and grandson of William and Jane Hand of Chesterfield. His is commemorated on his grandparents memorial at Spital Cemetery, Chesterfield, Derbyshire and also of the Runnymede Memorial, Surrey
