Extended Description
Maurice Thomas COWIN, Flying Officer and Lieutenant, Royal Navy Killed in an aeroplane accident Wednesday 15 October 1930. Died at Halfar, Malta while flying a Ripon S3165 of No.461 (Fleet Torpedo Bomber) Flight from HMS Glorious ex-battlecruiser, now an aircraft carrier along with LAC Edward George Barker. Cause of death, the aircraft failed to recover from a dive.

Born in Mauritius 5th January 1905 to Thomas John and Isabelle Cowin.

At rest in Plot M grave 6 Capuccini (Kalkara) Naval Cemetery, Malta.
