Mason SIMONTON. Private 5634, 20th (Public Schools) Battalion Royal Fusiliers (Machine Gun Section).
Born 13 September 1894 at Ballycloughan nr Ballymena, County Antrim to William Davidson and Jenny Simonton. nee Mason of 1, Malone Park, Belfast.
In France 15 November 1915. Killed in action 20 July 1916 aged 21 years at High Wood, France. His father was granted a war gratuity 24 March 1917 revised 25 September 1919.
Commemorated on his parents’ grave at Comber Non-Subscribing Presbyterian Church, County Down Northern Ireland. At rest in Serre Road Cemetery No 2, France
