MASON George William, Corporal 11424, 6th King's Own Yorkshire Light Infantry killed in action in France 16th September 1916 aged 23. He was the son of William and Lily and husband of Elsie Dobson formerly Mason of 155 Bentley Road, Doncaster He is commemorated on a memorial in Eastwood Cemetery, Nottinghamshire and also on the Thiepval Memorial, Somme, France.
