Marine F W Wint

Rear Admiral Bonham Carter and Captain Clarke going ashore at Seidisfiord for the funeral of Marine F W Wint
The funeral was on 5th March 1942. Marine Wint was killed when HMS Sheffield struck a mine on the way to a rendezvous with HMS King George V. The mine exploded on March 3rd 1942, at 9.16pm, and left a 35ft long hole in the hull.
