Extended Description: Marian Lis Pilot 792046 Polish Air Force attached to 61 Operational Training Unit RAF Rednal Shropshire

Born 5 September 1921 at Spławie Poznań Poland

Killed aged 22 years old the 27 April 1944 by Sergeant Eugeniusz Jaworski. whilst flying Spitfire P8079 which collied midair with his Spitfire P7608 during a training exercise over Maesbrook Shropshire. W/O Lis severed the tail unit of Jaworski's aircraft, both were killed.

At rest in Skerton Cemetery Lancaster.
