Private Margaret Jean Mortlock, VAD Nurse New Zealand Women's Army Auxiliary Corps.
She part passengers of 20 along with a crew of 06 in a Short S.29 Stirling, registration LJ668 of 299 Squadron RAF which took off from Cairo bound for London. It crashed into the ground at Reenes Airport, 7th October, 1945, Dorothy age 36 years, her husband ages 37 years. Both are at rest beside each other in Rennes Eastern Communal Cemetery, France
Daughter of Robert and Margaret Muriel Jane Mortlock, of Hawera, Taranaki, New Zealand. Died aged 24 years.
