Louisa Mary Adeline PHILLIPS. Wife of Major, Thomas Vaughan Wynn Phillips, Royal Artillery who died at Taormina Sicily 29th September 1897 aged 35. and laid to rest in Ta Braxia 2nd October 1897
She was born in the Isle of Wight and was the eldest daughter of Admiral Sir Algernon Frederick Rous DeHORSEY. At rest in Ta Braxia Cemetery, Malta.
Major Thomas Vaughan Wynn PHILLIPS 1855- 29th September 1916
He lived at 32 Leigham Street, Plymouth. His effects went to Jessie Catherine Phillips, nee Armstrong, his widow who was from Kidwelly, Carmarthen, Wales and Edward Fox, merchant. Jessie died on the 17th September 1927 and she living at the same address as her late husband.
He fought as Lieutenant in the Afghan War 1878-1882 awarded a campaign medal
