Born 1877 at Nottingham, Nottinghamshire to Jesse and Eliza Hind
1881 with his parents and siblings at 8 Alexandra Street, Basford, Nottinghamshire. 1891at Boarding School at Winkfield Row, Winkfield, Berkshire. 1901 with his parents and siblings at the Grange, Lindy, Nottinghamshire, occupation, articled clerk.
Married 26 April 1906 at Remonstrant Church, Comber to Eliza Montgomery Andrews. Occupation solicitor residing at Edwalton Nottingham. Eliza at Ardara House, Comber. Son in Law of the Right Honourable Thomas and Mrs Eliza Andrews
1911 with his wife and two daughters at Manor Park, Ruddington, Nottinghamshire, occupation, still the same as 1911.
Fell in action 1 July 1916 aged 38 years at Gummecourt, France. A joint gratuity was granted to his widow and Oliver Watts Hind 3 March 1917.
Commemorated on the ‘ANDREWS’ memorial in Comber Non-Subscribing Presbyterian Church, County Down Northern Ireland and on the Thiepval Memorial, Somme, France.
