- L234 PERCIVAL CHARLES SMITH. Master at Arms M35515 Royal Navy, Pensioner Attendant at Duty Chart Department, HM Dockyard, Malta. Born 23 June 1892 at Winchester, Hampshire. Enlisted 2 August 1910 for a period of 10 years on HMS Pembroke II as Stoker 2nd Class K8126. Civilian occupation, gardener. 1 September 1918 promoted to Stoker Petty Officer. Transferred 20 April 1919 to Regulating Petty Officer (RPO.) as M35515. The next day 21st he was posted HMS Pembroke I. Promoted to Master at Arms 1 January 1924. Died 26th October 1951 aged 58 years. Inscription on memorial. “Gone but not forgotten by his dear wife and son.
At rest in Plot L, Grave 234 Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Kalkara, Malta.
