L166 RICHARD JAMES TIDDY. Cook (Dev) M7507, Royal Navy, HMS Clematis. Born 6th February 1896 at Saltwash, Cornwall to William John and Margaret Tiddy of 22 Dolcoath Avenue, Camborne, Cornwall. 1911 he was still residing with his parents and siblings at the same address. Enlisted 30 April 1914 on HMS Vivid I, occupation, tin miner. Died 2nd October 1920 Royal Naval Hospital, Bighi Malta of acute miliary tuberculosis and cardiac failure. His mother was informed of his death 4th October 1920.
At rest in Plot L, Grave 166, Capuccini Naval Cemetery, Kalkara, Malta.
