Warrant Officer Pilot 1238969 Donald William JOLLIFFE 16 Squadron Royal Air Force (VR) who was killed on operations over Nijmegen 1st October 1944 aged 22 He was the son of Walter and Ruby nee Howarth of Kinmel Bay, Denbighshire. He is commemorated on a separate memorial on the grave of his Aunt Alice and Uncle Tom Harry Baxter and his cousin Phyllis who also fell. He is at rest in Geel War Cemetery, Antwerp, Belgium.
