John William MARSDEN

Extended Description: John William MARSDEN. R8476, 11th King’s Royal Rifle Corps. Born 1896 to William and Jemima Marsden. 1911 residing with his widowed father and siblings at 1 Albert Villas, Station Road, Ilkeston. Died of wounds at 4th Northern General Hospital, Lincolnshire 27 November 1915 aged 19 years. His brother, Daniel was granted a war gratuity 12 June 1916, revised 31 July 1919.

At rest in Park Cemetery, Ilkeston, Derbyshire.
