John William COLEMAN Petty Officer Stoker P/K57950 Royal Navy on HMS Danae Born 14 February 1896 at Liverpool Lancashire to George Henry and Elizabeth Frances Coleman, nee Farrell. Enlisted as Stoker Class II, 11 March 1915 on HMS Victory as SS115505. Occupation prior to enlistment, labourer in metal works. Demobilised on shore from HMS Birmingham. Re-entered as Stoker Class I K57950. 23 August 1919 on HMS Victory II. Husband of Sarah Coleman, nee Maze of Belfast. His last place of residence was 86 Leopold Street, Belfast. Died at Royal Victoria Hospital, Belfast 23 November 1945 age 49, cause not disclosed.
