- To the memory of The Venerable and Reverend John Thomas Howe Le Mesurier, M.A., thirty three years Chaplain to H.M. Forces at Malta. One of the Archdeacons in the diocese of Gibraltar and officiating as such for many years in this collegiate church. Born 18th August 1785 to Paul and Mary Le Mesurier , closed his long and useful life September 29th 1864. He was baptised on the 14th September 1785 at St Stephen, Walbrook, London.

The Reverend John Thomas Howe Le Mesurier formerly of Brasenose College Oxford and Chaplain to the Forces on half pay and Archdeacon of the Church of England in the Island of Malta but late of Bembridge in the Isle of Wight in the county of Southampton, clerk. He died at Bembridge.
This memorial is in St Paul's Pro Cathedral, Valletta , Malta
