HMS Royal Arthur

HMS Royal Arthur, Shore establishment

This obelisk is dedicated to the men and women who entered service into the
Royal Navy at HMS Royal Arthur at the former “Butlins Holiday Camp” Skegness
In the years 1939 – 1945 and to all Officers and Ratings who passed through
HMS Royal Arthur, Corsham, Wiltshire in the years 1945 – 1993.
In remembrance of all shipmates who have Crossed the Bar.
This obelisk in committed to them and commemorated by
Commander Stephen Mackay Royal Navy.
President HMS Royal Arthur Association.
The installation of this obelisk was made possible by the generous legacy of Shipmate
Nellie Wilson.
