Born 19th February 1874 at Cawood, Yorkshire, enlisted 14th December 1899, occupation prior to enlistment, fitter. Died 25th July 1900 aged 26 on the Red Sea of heat stroke. His father was informed of his death 14th September 1900. He is at rest in Hong Kong Cemetery, Happy Valley, Hong Kong.

Walter Henry Thomas MONK. Leading Stoker 1st Class 161965, Royal Navy on HMS Argonaut. Born 1st April 1873 at Lewisham, Kent, enlisted 3rd July 1891, occupation prior to enlistment, Died 23rd November 1900 aged 23 on board his ship at Hong Kong on eteric fever, haemorrhage and heart failure. His mother was informed of his death, 4th January 1901. He is at rest in Hong Kong Cemetery, Happy Valley, Hong Kong.
David Jenkins DAVIES. (DAVIES) Ordinary Seaman, Royal Navy on HMS Argonaut. Born 20th July 1883 at Llanon, Cardigan, enlisted 27th October 1898, occupation prior to enlistment, errand boy. Died 1st January 1902 aged 17 on HMS Tamar in Hong Kong from general tubercle. He is at rest in Hong Kong Cemetery, Happy Valley, Hong Kong.

Enlisted 20th July 1891, occupation prior to enlistment, shipwright. Died Died 22nd June 1915 aged 57 at sea of a ruptured aneurysm. His widow, Sarah Gilberd lived at 38 Barton Avenue, Keyham, Devonport. At rest in British Cemetery, Funchal, Madeira.
