This memorial is at Whitmore St Mary and All Saints Church Staffordshire

Sacred to the memory of
Henry George MAINWARING. Major 1st Regiment, Bengal Native Infantry.
Born 1812 in Calcutta, to Thomas and Sophia Isabella Mainwaring.
15 January 1850 he married Frances Sanders Kelk, spinster at All Saints, St John’s Wood, Westminster. He was a Captain in the Bengal Army, residing at 05 Alpha Place, presumed in Westminster.
1861 with his wife and family at 07 York Road, Hove, Sussex
Died at Chateau D’Oex, Switzerland June 8th 1868 aged 56.
