Henry Charles PULLEN M.R.C.B.A, Rifleman, S/7522, 1st Rifle Brigade,
Awarded the Territorial Force Efficiency Medal.
Born 1868 at Uley, Glos to Henry and Elizabeth Pullen, nee Savory of Berkeley, Glos.
1871 with his widowed mother and sister Owlpen Cottages, Owlpen, Gloucestershire
1881 with his sister and mother at Condover Small House, Condover, Shropshire.
1901 Boarder at the home of McWilliams family at 42 Shaftesbury Road, Preston Sussex, occupation, architects’ clerk.
On the 20 April 1908 aged 39 he married Elizabeth Thomas at Christ Church Fulham and bother were living together at 37. Quarrendon Street, Parsons Green, Middlesex, His occupation was given as an architect
In 1911 he was living with his wife at 22. Quarrendon Street, Parsons Green, Middlesex, occupation aged 43, architects assistant
He fell in action 26th April 1915 aged 47.
At the time of his death his widow was residing at 9, Tynycoed Terrace, Thomastown, Tonyrefail, Glamorganshire.
A war gratuity was granted to his widow 05 June 1916 revised 22 August 1919.
Commemorated on a family memorial in Berkeley Cemetery, Gloucestershire, also commemorated on the Menin Gate Memorial, Ypres, Belgium
Wills and Admin, Ancestry.
Henry Charles Pullin of 22Quarrendon Street, Parsons Green, Middlesex. Died 26 April 1915 in France on active service. His effects went to his widow.
